Defect Tracking Back to the Batches
With individualized serial codes on each product linked to a batch, any defects determined during the supply chain can now be tracked easily.
Many times, Brand Owners have difficulty tracking the daily performance against open PO to their manufacturing vendors. Using the ATRK label registration process they can get visibility into the daily production rates and how likely the expected completion date will be met.
Additionally, since these labels and batches are tracked any defects can be linked directly back to the batch that was involved. Should many defects occur within a batch Brand owners can hold any remaining stock or issue recalls.
Fraud Prevention
Security is key
The unique Secure Label codes allow for positive identification of authentic products. Invalid scans can be pushed to a customer service page allowing your client to address this issue and help track down the origin.
The ATRK system tracks all label scans and can identify labels scanned too many times. Fraudsters will get stopped in their tracks, as once limits are reached the labels are deemed “suspicious”.
ATRK also tracks if excessive scans are originating from the same location, this then sends up a red flag. The fraudster is stopped by ATRK and prevents them from scanning to find valid codes.
Grey Market / Diversion
Flexibility for Geographic Pricing
Some products are destined for certain geographic markets at a lower price, creating the opportunity for a gray market to happen. The unique Secure Label codes can be tracked to the destination location, scans in the wrong destination can help identify and track down any diversion that may occur.
